Welcome to Bar D Performance Horses of Elgin, Texas. Nestled just 30 miles East of Austin, Texas; Bar D Performance Horses offers a wide variety of horsemanship opportunities for all ages. Whether you are new to the equine world or a veteran, we have plenty of opportunities for you to enjoy horses. Our programs are based on the needs of each individuals goals and abilities. We offer programs to horse lovers of all ages and abilities; from weekly lessons to clinics, demonstrations and everything in-between. Our instructors have over 30 years of horse experience and are willing to meet each clients needs. Our goal is to provide a safe, enjoyable interaction for both the horses and the humans. Every horse in the Bar D Program has a story and a reason they reside at the Bar D. Some horses are solely companion horses and are only available for brushing and social and emotional interactions, while others are wonderful riding and competition horses.
